Paperticket vs. Jobber
Jobber is one of the best-known field service apps, built for home service businesses of many kinds: quoting, scheduling, invoicing and getting paid in one place.
Paperticket is narrower. It's built around the calls, equipment and maintenance work of small commercial HVAC and refrigeration shops, and it leaves invoicing to the system you already use.
Stick with Jobber if…
- You want quotes, invoices and card payments in the same app you dispatch from.
- You need QuickBooks Online sync today.
- Most of your work is residential, and customers book and pay online.
Paperticket fits if…
- Your work is tied to equipment: rooftop units, walk-ins, and what was done to each one last time.
- You run maintenance agreements with seasonal visits across many sites.
- Customers issue POs, and the office bills from its own system.
- You want one flat price for the whole company, however many people you add.

Where Jobber is stronger
Jobber covers the money side: quotes customers approve online, invoices, card payments and QuickBooks sync. Paperticket doesn't take payments or sync with accounting yet. If getting paid in the same app is what you need most, Jobber is the better fit today.
Where Paperticket is stronger
Commercial HVAC work revolves around equipment. In Paperticket each unit has its specs, photos, service history and the parts used on it, and maintenance agreements tie seasonal visits to that equipment. Jobber's plan page doesn't list equipment tracking or PO numbers.
Pricing works differently too. Jobber prices by plan and team size, in US dollars. Paperticket is US$149 a month plus applicable sales tax for the whole company, with no per-user fees.
A note on price
Jobber's prices are in US dollars and change with plan, team size and commitment. It was running a limited-time discount when we checked. Compare the plan you'd actually need, at its regular price, on Jobber's own pricing page.
